Did we lose cotd with the new fp overlords? I hope not

whilst i’m also upset, I think it might have to do with the LA auto show. Busy time for the writers.

I thought PGeorge was in charge for the last few months anyways.

Was about to say the same...all the big shots are in LA and as you can see they are doing little videos too. Sometimes things slip through the cracks.

Nah, Patrick brought it back. It has been somewhat spotty though, but at least it’s mostly back.

There’s a difference between “back-back” and “mostly-back.” “Mostly-back” is slightly back. “Back-back”...well, there’s only one thing to do with “Back-back.”
What’s that?
Turn up the creativity and hope it shows on the front page.

No, it probably got lost in the shuffle of LA Auto Show chaos yesterday. It happens sometimes but we have COTD way more often than not. I don’t like missing them.

Patrick, do some of you guys use http://oppositeblog.kinja.com/ to find good stories from OPPO to pull to Jalopnik? I think setting up a system like we use there could help you all with COTD. You could set up a new page - cotdnoms.kinja.com or something - and give everyone who is “followed” by Jalopnik authorship rights (maybe OPPO authors, too). Then, when any of us come across a comment that is COTD-worthy, we could share it to that page in order to nominate it. Might be helpful.
Also, this needs more views! http://oppositelock.kinja.com/setting-the-re…
