Kinja'd!!!

Say hello to the object that has consumed so many of my study halls finding parts that fit, and scouring PassatWorld for every modification tidbit. Though the irony of this being, I barely have the money to put gas in her, much less drop $2.3k on something like KW V3 Coilovers...

V3’s are nice, but if you won’t be tracking the car save yourself some money and buy KW streetcomforts. I briefly had a set of V3’s but I sold them after a few months because honestly they were overkill for a car that's just being driven to work everyday. The streetcomforts were awesome for a daily and still handled so well.

I do plan on tracking the car at one point or another. The big thing for me is the adjustability. I'd like run a track-like tune during the summer and fall, and a near OEM tune during the winter and spring.

V3’s will probably still be overkill. Don’t get me wrong, they are fantastic. That’s why so many Porsche guys are running them. You can achieve a great amount of adjustability with V2’s or other coilovers.

Also, hit up some forum vendors before you buy a set. Guys on a BMW forum I frequent saved me like $300 on a new set of V3’s!
