Not my car, and I don’t know the seller in any way, shape or form. Just a nicely modified BMW 325xi 5-speed with sport package... basically what I would do to my car if I could. Except the roof rail delete. I need those!
He’s asking $6,750, or $8k even with the CSL replica wheels (alternative wheels are stock with snow tires) and custom subwoofer.
In my world, that’s a NP. I know you can get them cheaper, but I’ve had two of these and the cheaper ones just need more work. Keep in mind, this is New England. Many of these are rusty beaters by now.

NP! Black, German, AWD, Wagon. Checks all my boxes.

Np. The only thing that I would change are either the taillights or indicators so that they match.

I agree. There are some nice red-clear-red tail lights on ebay...

Apart from that little thing it’s perfect tho

Precisely! I paid about that much for my stock ‘03. The nice ones are becoming more and more rare... as the price drops below $5k they are nearly always basket cases.

Oh man...you need to buy that piece.

Certainly someone will be happy with it. I’d be much more interested if this wasn’t my current car:

Oh...well played then. I had a chance to get an E46 wagon a long time ago, but it was far away and I never pursued it. That would have been a cool car.

It’s great, this is my second! I wanted one when they first came out but I was a poor college student.

CP IMO, there, I said it. Not by much. Would be NP with lower mileage. I know a high-mile well-maintained car is better than a low-mile neglected one, and you’d have to see it in person to see for sure, but 7k would generally get you a (non-wagon) e46 with half the miles. I’d call $5500 NP for this one. I admit the manual wagon combo is a very rare find - I’ve looked for one for a year and a half before giving up and buying the sedan. That said, rarity doesn’t always translate to value. You have to ask yourself how much of a premium you’re willing to pay for the long roof.

This is a truth that many deny, especially CL sellers. I think this is NP for the right buyer; but you’re right, for those in the market for ANY E46, you can do better. Narrow that to the AWD versions, and then 5 speed, and wagons, each time it’s hard to do better. I was surprised he’s not trying to ask something crazy like $12k. No doubt that you can get a nice 325xi sedan for a lot less though.
