They did a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! on Detroit’s role in the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! during WWII.
This table in particular paints a pretty amazing picture of how much we produced in those few years.

Yes, actually it does.

Here’s Hagrid seeing a demo of one.

Almost mindboggling. It makes it all the more sad so much of US production having been moved overseas.

Big Daddy FTW. That was fun to watch. That must have been loud as F**K.

Yeah, I don’t think I’d want to stand next to something that’s meant to be heard 25 miles away.

You mean like this? Though in all fairness to the XF-88, it wasn’t really
meant
to be heard that far away.
Seriously, though, I’ll bet that siren would rearrange your innards.

We’ve done it. We’ve taken over Oppo.

I’d still like to know where all the clicks on that YA-9 article are coming from. I reread it earlier today, and I’d love to rewrite it now. My style has changed a lot in the intervening 20 months. I wonder if somebody somewhere outside of the Gawkerverse linked to it.

No share notification?

Nope. That’s why I think the clicks are coming from outside. I haven’t gotten any comments or stars on it either, except for one from a recognized Opponaut. So I don’t think Kinja tacked it on to another Gawker article. I’ve looked for related content on Foxtrot Alpha and Jalopnik, but found nothing.

It’s a mystery. Google search yields nothing other than your original piece.

On a whim, I
googled the link itself and got two hits
. The first is my original post, the second is some Portuguese language search engine. You can see the Oppo link in the second result, but I don’t know if that is just a reference to my search or if that link is referenced in one of the results, though most are Wikipedia links. Somebody is clicking it somewhere! I think there have been over 1000 clicks just today.
