Oppo, for some reason Jalopnik it stuck in mobile mode on my MS Surface. I’ve tried clearing caches and cookies and the like but I’m stuck in a world of headlines which take up 1/3 of the screen. This is firefox. Anyone had this problem? (Other Gawker sites are okay).

8.1 or 10?
Make sure you’re not in tablet mode. If that doesn’t fix it, try Edge (10) or IE (8.1). Working fine on my SP3 running 10 Pro.

It'll do that if the browser is set to a higher zoom. Have you checked that?

W10. Edge is fine with it, so it must be FF sending duff info somewhere about the media types/size. I’ll plumb the FF forums and see if that turns anything up.

Ah, you are most wise! FF seems to remember the zoom for individual URLs it seems, must have got switched up by accident at some point. I may now Jalop without the need of a complex series of prisms and mirrors.
