Long story short, due to the dog and plane ticket/car rental prices, I am driving from Denver to Richmond and back in the next couple weeks. We have a company holiday party and some training at our corporate office that is happening too close to Thanksgiving, so driving was the cheapest option. Since it won’t push me out of warranty I figure I’ll test the long-distance reliability of my car. And my sanity.
If any Oppos need a ride eastbound next week or westbound the week after, feel free to speak up! Also, anyone know if you can do a short term trial of Sirius radio?

Good news for sirius!
November 19-December 2 is free listening period! Just turn it on and you should have Satellite radio!

That’s some serious distance. And whoever schedules at your corporate needs to be “transitioned out.”

That's fantastic! That'll take care of the trip there at least.

Stop in Saint Louis during non-working hours and I might buy you some yummy dinner.
I recommend an additional seat cushion or those wooden seat beads. More than 100 miles at a time in an Abarth doesn't sound too comfy.

They’d fly us back just for the three days, but in order to stay longer (to see family) my ticket would have to be cheaper, which makes boarding the dog cost me $350 out of pocket (and then tack on a rental car for over a week and checked baggage). They’ll at least cover $300 of my gas if I drive. Not looking forward to it but I’ll live.

Thanks! I’ll have to actually plan this out soon so I’ll let you know. And the seats are actually not too bad. I drove 1,000 miles or so in a Pop one weekend (rental) and wanted to push it off a cliff - these are much better.

Nice! I currently live there. Small world.
