Does the new Kia Sportage look way too similar to the Subaru B9 Tribeca?

Nope, but it does look like a giant Kia Pro Cee’d GT.

I...I actually see it. Although about 6 people bought the Tribeca worldwide so very few will even notice that it’s so similar.

Subaru Tribeca as reinterpreted to look like Madame Medusa from The Rescuers.
With perhaps a dash of Ursula:

Very true about few noticing it.

I’m just glad crossovers have finally started given up the pretensions of being something other than tall hatchbacks. If only crossover owners could start finally giving up the pretensions that they are rugged outdoorsy types.

Haha I was waiting for you to respond. To be fair they are pretty scarce.

Weirdly they sold really well in Brazil, tons of soccer moms and me bought one.

Subaru must have a better presence there. I never see Subarus here other than old Imprezas. UK market just doesn’t go for them for whatever reason.

It's not you.

Also, WAAAAAAY too much empty space.

They don’t, I rarely see other Subarus, some Foresters from time to time. But Tribecas are fucking everywhere and they had a initial price tag of $42,000 3 years ago.

I need to give up thinking that any new car will look different. They all look like bloated pillowy things.
