I was wondering what a flared fender, larger tire-d, coupe version of the 124 would look like, anyone willing to take the challenge? Oh and I think that a stanced coupe would look great too, if you’re willing.

Maybe slap an Abarth badge on too, I think that an Abarth coupe 124 could be a potential success.

I am no photoshop expert, but I have an aligning request...

Abarth Spyder-ize this: A matte black hood following the hood shut line, and modest over-fender flares, and a blacked out side sill and side mirror caps, would probably be fine. Some 124 Abarth Spyders also had coordinating matte black trunk lids, although less necessary for anti-glare from the bodywork into the driver’s eyes.

to look more like these:

That is a customer car on the Group4 Wheels website... that company produces those Cromodora-replica wheels. I hope they’ll make a 17x8 moderately-high offset version of those Cromodora CD68 replicas to fit the new 124. Otherwise ND Miata-specification 6UL wheels will almost certainly fit, either in silver, or bronze. (I would call them gold)

Now that is damn hot, right there. Thank you for that.

[Right Click, saved.] (I could only find the “deleted” keyboard mime gif quickly, but this is certainly not to be deleted.)

All that needs, is an Abarth crest on the upper front fender.

I wouldn’t argue with one like this with the brown leather interior, and the gold 6UL wheels... but that is just a variant option, not any criticism.

Painting the hood and mirror caps as separate panels, and using the ND Miata black windshield frame trim... this should be EASY to do. The suspension, brakes, and chassis underpinning dimensions are identical, so Miata aftermarket wheels, coil-over dampers, and other bits should fit perfectly. This makes so much sense, it is BEGGING to be built.

That is quite good looking. I actually want the 124 more than the ND, and as a NA/NC owner and lifelong Mazda fanboi, I am scared and ashamed...
