I think I could eat 100 push-ups.

Back in the day when I was a fresh, Basic Training hardened ChairForce Ranger, I could knock out 100 push ups in one shot.
Those days are long ago though.

If I train max pushups 2-3 times a week, I’ve hit low 60s.
They key for me is NO ECCENTRIC. You basically drop to the ground and crank out only the concentric phase. It’s not the most ideal for broad-based training, but amazing for speed and plyo conditioning.
That’s as many bro words as I can fit in a sentence. Also: swole.

Not ever, but I’m hitting the weights again. Maybe I’ll try

Got discharged 5 and a half years ago. Not sure I’ve done a push-up since.

I have an unnatural ability to do pushups. When I was active duty I never once trained and could always crank out the maximum without issue (87). A year or so ago, without having done a pushup in 5 years, we had an impromptu competition at a work picnic and I did ~170 before just stopping because everyone else had given up. Same thing with situps. I think it’s just a mind over matter thing that I learned when I was a gymnast as a kid.
Pull ups, on the other hand, I cannot do even 5. Same with running...I’m slow and have no endurance (though I can row and swim at a high level).

I did that a few years ago, with the sit up one.
Now it’s routine - although I stay around 80 for each.

I’m more of a 12 oz curls guy

I did it a few years back. Considering I started being able to do like 12... It was a lot of work. I still don’t have much upper body strength though... meh

I recently had a PT test and did 68 in a minute. For a maximum score 67 is needed which is why i stopped. Although i don’t think i can do 100 at a time. A few weeks i probably can but as of now, probably not.
