It’s been raining basically nonstop here for the last few days and the roads are quite slick. That combined with my speeding (50 in a 45) meant that this woman almost managed to take me out. Fair warning: Car full of HS kids=sophomoric language.
I was in the middle of the 3 lanes, and I thought for sure she would turn into the rightmost lane. Instead she kind of turned into both, then moved right instead of left. Luck (and maybe a little German engineering) saved my ass here.

It’s been absolutely pouring here for the last hour. I’m trudging through an inch of water to get places. Sandals were a mistake.

Big fuckin surprise that it’s someone in a minivan. I was just having this conversation with people at the Oppo meet, people who drive minivans are usually the most inept, stupid, careless drivers on the road. Almost every time someone does something stupid like what you see above they are usually in a minivan.
Someone doing under the speed limit? Minivan
There’s a gradual decline coming so they slam on their brakes? Minivan
Turning into 2 or 3 lanes because their car has the turn in of a fucking aircraft carrier? Minivan.

While minivan drivers do check alot of those boxes I would have to give Priuii drivers the cake. They do all this and then some.
As an aside, I too drive a minivan. I guarantee that unless I am looking for a street or address or held up by traffic I am at if not above 10 over. Especially in the van. People in general have issues with coasting and for their size (and being FWD) the turning radius is reasonable. Certainly no more than the G6. I too, would chalk that up to the problem being between the seat and the steering wheel not the vehicle itself.

Dodge St. at 114th has always been a melting pot of stupidity especially heading West. People need to get their heads out of their asses. Well done not plowing into the fool.

At least your passengers were decent enough to ask before flipping them off

I was just leaving that section of Dodge around that time last night. It’s getting scary hard to see the road lines.

Oh I’d call it more than pouring, more torrential rainstorm. I should have worn boots.

I have never even bothered to get a pair of boots, but now, I may have to.

Always make sure to be polite, even when being obscene.

I learned when we reached our destination that one of my rear passengers had unbuckled himself just after we set off (not something I permit). He had a fun time during this.

We had another friend who was supposed to meet up with us, but he rear-ended someone on Center near 120th. I happened upon him before I picked people up and stopped to see if I could help, but he basically asked me to go on without him and not tell anyone.
