Isn’t it silly that we use round tires still? I mean the rounder an object is, the less traction it can create. Plus, the design was engineered by the same monkey that produced such gems as “hit it with a rock” and “booger on a stick.” I say, for better handling, we need to start fighting fire with fire. Place corners on our tires so that we can corner our corners better!
I know, what about ride quality? We have suspension systems that use GPS, cameras, and freaking lasers to adjust 40 times per pebble. Chassis have never been stiffer, nor body motion better sorted. I think we are ready to begin moving towards a polygonal future. If Pi are squared, then who are we to disagree?!

My dream. I was so disappointed when I found out the Chevy Trax was not what the name implied. Guess I’ll head over to Nissan.

Put the GT-R drivetrain in there and we got ourselves a perfect vehicle.

Round tires are cheaper to produce. It’s literally “cutting corners”. All the manufacturers are doing it now.

If I had that kind of money, I'd probably take the old-fashioned, round-wheel route and get the G-wagen 6x6. I love that thing so much.

Square wheels are easy, it’s building the roads that’s the problem.

I don’t think that’s the problem. The surface in that diagram looks like a typical Pennsylvania road, so it’s definitely possible.
