It just keeps popping up, I may have to arrange a test drive.

Looks to be in pretty good condition from the grainy photos provided. That stereo will definitely have to go. Rebuilt transmissions scare me, but it may be worth it if I can prey on their desperation...

Please do, and then come back here and post your experience. I can’t remember when I’ve seen one of these.

I mean, it's an LSX swap away from awesomeness.

Might not be a lot of desperation to prey on. If it has been for sale for a year, then they are probably not feeling too pressed to sell it.

That car is awesome

Needs engine swap and quiet mufflers for ultimate sleeper status.

Last time I saw something closer was a bustle back Seville a few months back. If I get this, I will drive it everywhere, so everyone will know that this is a thing that exists.

You may very well be right, but the price has been reduced at least twice. It’s certainly worth a shot.

I’m generally against making any V8 quieter, but it could actually be a lot of fun in this scenario.

I actually love the unapologetic oddball flavor.
Weird but fast?
Nope, just weird.

That’s what electronic cut outs are for LOL

I’m imagining that in the Hurst/Olds livery, and it is good.

I’ll never fully understand why GM was obsessed with the bustle-back in those days, but I love it. They even wanted to stick a version of it on the Fleetwood before good sense took over.

Google to the rescue! Missing 2 doors, but close enough.

You could drive that one backwards and no one would be able to tell the difference.

It would be more practical that way, too, if you could get an engine to fit in the new front.

Pretty sure I drive by this thing all the time.

Just saw this almost a day later.
My parents had a ‘78 Cutlass Salon Brougham, bought new when I was 2-3. The back windows didn’t roll down, but it did have those cool vents between the C & D pillars. They owned it for its entire life, as it was totaled by a two-week-old Aerostar in 1989.
