In just a little over four years, we’ll be living in the ‘20s. We’re almost back to the whole two-digit decades thing, and some of us are actually going to be alive in the ‘60s and stuff. What we now just call the ‘20s, ‘30s, etc. our kids will see the same way that we view the 1820s, 1830s, and so on.
I’m also curious who will be the very last person alive whose birth year begins with a 1. Of course, I won’t get to find out unless that’s me...

The thought of me being 25 in 2020 is odd....

I’m actually kind of hoping that we hit a really, really heavy decade nostalgia trend in the 2020s and ’30s, because there are a number of elements from their 20th century equivalents that I’d like to re-do.

Imagine how you feel when you walk up to the cash register at the supermarket and the girl recognizes you from when you taught her as an intern in elementary school. That shit makes you feel old.
Now get off my lawn you whippersnapper!

If that’s the case, maybe we can skip a few of the crazy dictators, please? Although the way things are going...

Well, obviously, we could do without those. Although, if the quantity of crazy dictators in the world were reduced from its present count back down to 1930s levels, that might actually be an improvement.
