Did you find a rock or bullet? I blew out the rear glass on my civic in a similar manner whist like trimming my parent’s driveway. I heard a thud. An unmistakable thud. I look over at my car and I had shot a rock right through the the damn glass.

My guess is rock. But there is nothing in the car.

When we were younger teenagers, we would help out my paraplegic uncle some weekend. My brother, cousin, and some buddy's would have a work weekend and do some yard work, ect. My brother mowing the lawn ran over a rock and knocked my cousin square in the balls, we all laughed, except for Justin, he laid on the ground & cried.

So whatever it was skipped off maybe? Just checking - in 40 years of mowing around cars, I’ve only had one incident: a rock got picked up, flung 40’, hit my van window at an obtuse angle and shattered the thing, just like this with an origin (smaller) but similar. A very wtf situation. (Comprehensive to the rescue.)

could that be spark plug? I hear that can break in glass, and thus would explain why there’s no rock inside...
