High speed test run, derailed due to “excessive speed”. And locomotive in the drink where it doesn’t belong.

Another driver who takes corners too fast? Why can’t they limit the trains in certain areas to speeds they know are ok. Japan has had some minor derailments but they have a guard system that seems to work. I have never seen a whole train move off the tracks in Japan, only slightly off and leaning.

Well it was during a test! I don’t know what they were testing though, speed or cornering... Curious if that information becomes public.

Next time they are doing speed testing choose a straighter section of track!
