Hatchback = back that opens in hatch-like fashion.
This is a back opening in hatch-like fashion. If your car can do this, it is a hatchback. If your non-car can do this, it has a hatchback. A thing cannot be exclusive from it’s own properties.
It may not be desirable to associate this (not yet released) car with all the other hatchbacks downmarket, but that won’t make it not a hatchback anymore.

Yes hatchback, and not a wagon, nor SUV.

Considering it’s probably based on a car platform, hatch back is correct.

I prefer “5-door”.

This one, to be precise.

I’ve heard people say the hatchback itself cannot be a door because you don’t typically use that to enter the car, but a door is just a part of a structure meant to enclose a space while allowing access to it if opened. A hatch does that. Therefore, it is also door.

Well, it’s got a hatch in the back. By that definition all wagons, crossovers and virtually all SUVs are hatchbacks as well, just like many coupes.
Very rare exception: Mini Clubman

I still prefer the Mazda, that that new infinity is not bad looking. Anybody know what motor they are running in it?
