In my state, scooters don’t require licenses or helmets. But that’s a really nice bike anyway.

Regarding licencing: Just go get a bike licence.
Whoa, motorcycles have to wear helmets but not scooters? That’s f’ed up. Is there a bicycle helmet law?

Interesting point.

No, I don’t think so. Alot of the people who ride scooters are post-DUI, too. You can’t get a bike license for a while after that.

But working two levers is haaaaaaarrrrrd
Seriously, though. Most people on scooters don’t trust themselves on a motorcycle. I’ve asked. Scooters seem to have this ‘tame as a bicycle’ aura for some.

lol. If you had to put a number on the percentage of scooters ridden by DUI’ers, what would it be? What state are you in?
Edit: You don’t need to answer that. Rhetorical question.
:-)x

sorry, i’ve ridden with shit brakes, and I’ve ridden with insanely good brakes.
forget city riding on anything with old brakes. entirely. good for putting around suburbia, but with the traffic in toronto, im never doing that again!

Nice restoration. I would prefer to find one somewhat rough and do the restoration myself.

Or even drive as-is.

That too. You can’t kill those old, simple Hondas.
Chain, sprockets and points and plugs is about all they ever require.

I encourage all of those people to try my Honda Cub. It is many things, but tame is not one of them.
