Kinja'd!!!

I mentioned a possible trade for my Paramotor for a Dakota with a HEMI.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

It’s about a 4,600 Ib and 370 horsepower difference between the two vehicles but I think it may be a good trade. Please help me make a check list for such a swaptastic vehicle.

VIN#, make sure the body/frame is clean of accidents.

Motor mounts and tranny cross member, do they appear to be well done?

Drive Shaft, make sure the UV joints look good and it feels balanced after being shortened.

Rear End w/ 392 gears and limited slip, any whining going on back there?

Gauges. Do they new Autometers all seem happy, hows the wiring and oil line?

ECM/ECU, wiring, mountings, good location?

Wiring everywhere, any fire hazards, corrosion?

What else, anyone want to run a VIN for me?

A good well executed swap will have AC. Make sure the AC and heat work.

I could run the VIN through Dodge to check for recalls or something. Will that help?

Does the new exhaust manifold/header placement come close to anything that it shouldn’t?

Aside from the lack of an enclosed intake tract (no huge deal) it looks extremely well sorted. Edit: clicked link, n/m

Anything to check or keep in mind in regards to that 2007 Hemi and that 545RFE? Any common issues to check? With 47K miles and being 6 years old, should I get the tranny serviced?

I had a 2007 R/T Charger and I had to swap in a new valve body controller but other than that it was a great motor and transmission.

I’m relearning all this Mopar mumbo jumbo but I don’t think there’s many issues with that setup at all.

Saw this in the side column after your chilly motorcycle ride.

Did you ever buy this maniac mobile?!

I did, I took it in the trade for my Paramotor and than sold the truck for cash. It worked out well.

Ahh so you don’t have it anymore.

Was it fun while you had it?
