has anyone figured out how to get 360 games (such as Assasins’s Creed 2) from the marketplace to download onto the xb1?
whenever I go to the marketplace it just gives me the option to download to xbox 360

You put the disc in and it takes you to the page or you buy on Xbox.com and go to the ready to install on my games and apps, I think.

I tried that for Banjo Kazooie nuts & bolts but it said it wasn’t playable but I’m more questioning how I can get the games for gold ones that I had previously gotten and it must be possible as xbox advertised in in the gfg section and said to go to the market place to do it yet it didn’t work

You’re right. It is no where to be seen. I even tried binging it.

I think they are still working on getting the titles that are avail together. Have you downloaded the backwards compatibility update?

I think so, I’ve downloaded the new dashboard update and I thought it came with it

I think if your xbone is setup as instant on it automagically downloads it. Otherwise you have to start the update.

I had to start it when I got home, luckily it didn’t take too long, not got any backwards compatability yet

If you have it downloaded to the 360 it will show up on the Xbone when you open games and apps. On the right column of games & apps on the Xbone you will see it as “ready to install”. Or you can go online to xbox.com from a computer and select download to 360 and it will show up in the same spot on Xbone.
