Welcome to Generation Gap where we ask you about your favorite generation of a certain multi-generational car nameplate. Then, explain why your choice is right to the rest of us uneducated folks.

If you’ve been following !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! you’ll know that I’ve been on an Australian car streak for the past few weeks, so today on Generation Gap we have a car that the Aussie car culture has embraced and expanded on for many years...the Chevy El Camino! The ute was designed as a concept where you could have both a civilized sedan as well as a utilitarian truck all in one. Which generation of this American ute do you see as the best?

The options:

First Generation [1959 - 1960] and facelift

I prefer the Ranchero. But the 4th Gen El Camino is cool, too.

Ya know, I never noticed this before. El camino’s all have kind of a sad face too them.

They look like they are fighting back the tears.

3rd gen. The ‘70 Chevelle is my favorite car of all time. The ‘70 El Camino is even better, because it has a pickup bed!
