Also hate shiny greasy interiors. My car has never seen a drop of armor all and I make sure it stays that way!

My old A4 used to get Armor All’d door panels, but I’d wipe it down a little bit with a dry cloth afterwards.

We never did that at the Jag/LR dealership. Not even in used cars. In fact, we had to undo it from many used cars we would get in.

My opinion, a much better over the counter product is Meguiar’s Quik Interior Detailer, cleans nicely and leaves a matte sheen. To clean my interior I’m a bit more thorough. use diluted all purpose cleaner to clean and Ultima interior guard plus to dress it.

Or when they put chrome pillar trim
Or when they keep protective plastic in showroom cars
Or when they place dealer stickers that are PERMANENT

QID does? I only used it a handful of times and don’t recall that. Not disagreeing maybe it reacts in different cars/materials/climates.

Nah, kidding. It did leave residue though. Dust..

Ye’, either that stuff or silicone spray. I hate the look of it. It’s greasy, attracts dust and blinds you with sun glare on sunny days.
I use Gtechniq I2 to clean and then Gtechniq C6 to dress, it leaves a fresh out of the factory lustre to the interior.

Shiny steering wheels make me think the previous owner was an unhygienic dirtbag who couldn’t care for their car.

We had a work truck detailed and they put so much armor-all on the steering wheel and the floor matts we had to clean it off with simple green in order to drive it safely. To their credit the did an excellent job of removing the dog hair.

My owner had this done “professionally” for me before I bought my last car. It’s been years and I still feel it on every single surface I touch. I tried cleaning the damn stuff off to no avail.
