Amen - just finished it myself, we tend to think of gunpowder as “archaic” in terms of explosives now, but, I mean....the POWER that explosion had was tremendous, and they only had a full wooden wall on ONE side of the building. Imagine if the test building had been 100% complete yet!

Fantastic site with some amazing history.
Quite a unique facility in Europe, granted it’s nothing on the U.S. scale but in Europe, countries are quite densely populated and such space is hard to find.
I never quite appreciate where I live as much as I should.
