This popped up for sale near me. After the first of the year there will be a need for a larger AWD vehicle in my life. Sure I could look on the interwebs for reviews but that’s why I have you. I trust Oppo.
I’ve read the Ford-foo-tainment system is hit or miss. MPG isn’t half bad. What say you?
Here’s the vehicle in question

I’m going to go sit in traffic now but look forward to the knowledge bomb coming my way.

A really heavy, tall, old Mazda 6 hatchback

I always liked the exterior, but not the interior.

Autoblog gave the Edge a bad review (which is really rare). If they don’t like it, it must be really bad.

Is it cheapo? Bear in mind I need something I can easily clean kid puke off of and won’t retain smells.

Is that bad then?

3.7 AWD will be fun, but TT V6 would be funner. Not a bad stand-in for the Explorer which has gotten huge.

Before my mother bought the Equinox (gigantic mistake by the way, STAY AWAY FROM THE EQUINOX), we test drove three Ford Edge’s, and loved all three of them. They were all out of her price range, sadly, but we would’ve definitely purchased one of them.

Yeah the Explorer has gotten to Tahoe size!

Rather, avoid cloth seats and buy all weather floormats if that’s a concern.
This is where I suggest Allroad and you say no.

I’ve driven my cousin’s 2009 Edge 3.5 SEL and it wasn’t a bad car. Interior was a bit plasticy but the one you’re looking at has a better interior. The 3.5 felt decently peppy so I don’t see the 3.7 having any issue. Can’t really talk about body roll or anything since I didn’t take any decently quick corners.

If it was the FWD model, the 3.5 is actually quicker than the 3.7 AWD because of the weight gain.

It's crossed my mind. Something I saw the other day. A new Allroad towing a trailer with two snowmobiles. It was awesome!

I remember reading somewhere that the larger wheels more than cancel out the power you gain from choosing the larger engine that’s required to get the bigger wheels.
And they are like curb magnets.

I like how it looks. I say give it a go
