I was lucky to check out one of the Aston Martin DB10s that was featured in the latest Bond movie at my local Aston dealership. Let me just say this: pictures don’t do this car justice. The car is absolutely beautiful in person.
Whilst the car sadly won’t be going into production, the DB10, I’m told show cases a lot of Aston Martin’s new design language; of which will carry over to the upcoming DB9 replacement, the DB11.
Can’t wait to see what the future holds with this new design language and Aston’s partnership with Mercedes-AMG.

Hopefully the DB11 is more DB10 than DB9. I may be crucified for this, but I’m starting to be over the Aston just using the same design for every damn car for the last 15 years. The DB10 does a fantastic job of looking completely different but still looking exactly like an Aston.

And I think that’s what the design language is (along with their Mercedes-AMG partnership) about; a new look, a new beginning.

I saw it at Los Gatos Luxury Cars but it was at Walnut Creek earlier this week.

The DB10 is pretty good, but I really don’t like the interior. But I don’t like Aston’s current interiors either. Or their old ones. Aston can’t do interiors.

Personally I think they are among the best interiors in the business. Sat in a Vantage GT a while back and the thing just felt rock solid.

It looks like the result of a very steamy night between an F-type and a Fusion.
That’s not a bad thing.
