Built “my” 2016 Camaro now that the configurator is live. I better start saving my pennies because I need this in my life.
Mine’s a 1LT RS 2.0T (Yes I’d buy a 4 cylinder turbo pony car) in Hyper Blue.
I can’t wait to start seeing these around because they look great. I’m not looking forward to what people are going to do to them though if the gen5 is anything to go by...

aww, they got rid of the console gauges? man, I always thought that was kinda cool.

They were a pretty cool throwback to the original Camaro, but a lot of people didn’t like them because they were pretty useless as gauges to look at while driving.

I recently drove some miles in a V8 SS version with the manual and was pretty impressed with the car. It’s not as refined as the Mustang or as exciting as the Challenger but it’s a nice middle ground between the three pony cars. I liked it.

“I better start saving my pennies because I need this in my life.”
I read that as “penises” and then wondered how one goes about saving all their penises. It’s been a long day.

I know that “It’s been a long day” feel.

Good to hear, middle ground between refinement and excitement is exactly what I’d want.

Ugh, that beltline is atrocious. I like to roll down the window and rest my elbow on the sill, but I’m afraid I’d tear my rotator cuff trying to do that in this thing.

It is a bit high, but I feel like I’d personally get used to it over time. It is a good thing I don’t like to rest my car on the sill though...

In a mason jar with embalming fluid or possibly in the freezer like Dahmer.
It has been a long day indeed.

Why can’t they just design a normal good looking steering wheel for the Camaro. The one used in the gen 6 is so fugly. They should just put this in:
![]() 11/09/2015 at 17:01 |

I’m okay with the wheel, mainly because it’s the same one that the Corvette has and is lovely apparently.

I threw up a little. Nice color though!

I was told you have a bucket of them that you sometimes gnaw on as a snack.
![]() 11/09/2015 at 17:08 |

Whoever told you that is a bullshitter!
I don’t gnaw. I chew with purpose.

Ooooo, The 2016 looks good! I wonder if I’ll actually be able to fit in this one though being 6’6”. Currently, I’m a Charger/Challenger fan both out of love and necessity (they fit awesomely).

Meh, I don’t need a V8. I4T is different at least.
![]() 11/09/2015 at 17:39 |

Shit, I’m 6’4” and haven’t even considered this..
![]() 11/09/2015 at 17:52 |

I heard you schlorp them.
![]() 11/09/2015 at 17:53 |

Why can’t I build and price one? Is there something wrong with my modem?
![]() 11/09/2015 at 18:00 |

I managed to find a crappier configurator but no build and price. I must have somehow got the optional interior delete.

Oh my.
You don’t have this when you click on Camaro?

Abstains then goes on a hedonistic binge, duh.

Yours cost the same as mine, but mine was a 2LT
Forget the RS package. Upgrade to 2LT.
The turbo seems like a solid buy, but the V8 is pretty expensive. I’ll be curious to see if the price actually stays where it is.
EDIT: Here’s mine
Really bummed the SS is at least $8k more...
