These are one of those cars “cool and would have but wouldn’t put forward any effort into finding one” list of cars I would like. I would be happy to have one but there are like 20 other cars I would have before it. If there was one down the street from me for a price I thought reasonable I would buy it. I live in the US so that’s not happening lol.

Haha, as the former owner of an SD1, I know that apprehension well. That ‘80s-tastic dash, and the lovely engine note bring back memories, too.

In actual fact, mine was pretty reliable from a mechanical standpoint, and after giving the wiring harness a thorough going-over, even the infamous electrics didn’t give any trouble. What did mine in was rust.
