Something I discovered by accident trying to clean nasty grime off of some used wheels. No soap, cleaner, or degreaser could do the job, so as a hopeless last resort I drizzled some Gojo on them, and it worked like magic!

i always hear about ph sensitivities of wheel coatings.

any idea on how the gojo may affect the coating?

also, ive had good results with sonax full effect. it works really well. but also smells like cat piss.

To be honest I don’t know about that, but my gut tells me if it’s safe to wash my hands with, it’s safe for wheels.

also works good to remove grease stains from clothing. might want to use the non citrus stuff though.

If you like Sonax Full Effect check out 3D BDX Brake Dust Remover or Wolfgang Uber Wheel Cleaner both of them are similar in that they turn color when dissolving iron particles but are cheaper. I used to use Sonax but it was way to expensive to buy in bulk and the spray sucks.

If it contains orange or lemon it will be a great degreaser. I believe it’s limonoline or someting like that which is often used as a degreasing agent in car prewashes as well as hand cleansers. Diluted down and sprayed onto a car via a pump sprayer will help lift traffic film such as benzene deposits, etc... which the majority of the dirt will attach to. Following this, fully rinse off and shampoo wash as normal.

The area you cleaned looks great! I wouldn’t have thought to use this. Thanks!
