I liked our three cats but they didn’t compare to our dog. A big white soft dopey Maremma.

I’m not saying cats are bad. I just prefer dogs. Though I did bond with our last cat Tigger, but he was like a small dog really.

I feel the opposite way. I like other people’s dogs. I get to play with them a bit, but then I don’t have to deal with their needy butts. My cat is so easy to take care of, but he still greets us at the door and follows my daughter around.

We got Shandy (ginger and white) our first then got Tigger (a tabby with white socks, chest and chin) very soon after. Sunny (a long haired ginger) adopted us after it’s mother from a few doors down rejected it.

Sunny died first of old age and Shandy had to be put down because he was sick. But each had their own mannerisms and after both ginger cats died, Tigger seemed to adopt the mannerisms of all three cats. It was very weird.

Sadly Tigger was run over a couple of years ago.
