Anway, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! popped up at a Car Max and I have honestly no clue if that’s a good price. Tips, help, etc much appreciated

Carmax is literally always overpriced. Just get a regular used one.

There’s a 2014 Focus ST in New Hampshire with 13,000 miles on it for $20,000 even. It has the Recaros. And it’s not even the cheapest one in the area. From a different tack, I was just looking at a 2015 WRX at a Massachusetts dealership with 6000 miles (demo, probably) for less than that Focus. You can do better than CarMax.

I recently shopped for an ST and can tell you that I saw new base 2015 ST’s for about the same price as the one you linked at Carmax. I specifically shopped for an ST2 model and was able to get quote for about $24,800. You might even be able to get a few more hundred off with the recent incentives they announced. You can find the my new car shopping saga here:

Make sure you check the new ones as well. When I was looking, with incentives, the new ones were around the same price (some even cheaper) as lightly used ones.

I paid 16.5 for my 2013 in jan 2015 with 30k miles and full cpo warranty. mine was st2 this is st3. that car seems pricey to me and would be better at 21/22. I would recommend looking at focusst.org classifieds as many are selling for great prices. otherwise skip CarMax and find a ford dealer with a cpo one. these are great cars especially at the used price point
