Probably has the brand name of the tool on the side, maybe. Or it’s a proprietary tool they’re using.

Neat. I’m not a German speaker. Any idea what the little cone shaped things are made out of?

I used to work in a shared office space. One of the rooms was rented out to a lady who made jewelry. I chatted with her a few times, and one of the interesting pieces of equipment that she had was a tumbler polisher. It was full of little steel balls and rods, and was used to give an interesting but really shiny finish.

I assume they’re probably rough ceramic chunks, and function just like your jewelry lady’s tumbler media.
