While taking off my catback I accidentally everything. Now all I have is a downpipe that I welded a $25 glasspack on in a vain attempt to quiet things down a bit. It didn’t help. Here are some money shots from my morning commute.

Yeah, I have the 1.6 (pronounced one-point-sex). It’s pretty damn bad in a straight line. Good thing DOHC motors like to rev because I have to wring this fucker out just to keep up with traffic.

Do it. Complete the cycle. You must. It is your destiny.

Miata exhaust are expensive. Coming from the land of Honda Civics, they are *stupid* expensive. Headers, test pipe, and catback for a Civic? $100 on ebay. Stainless steel. Same stuff for a Miata? Inexplicably $500 for the same shitty riceburner junk. I fail to understand.

Car with the cheapest parts? The answer...isn’t miata this time. :(

It had to happen sometime. Still not that pricey.

Gross...
My Miata’s exhaust is just hanging in there but one more winter’s gonna kill it. Not looking forward to listening to that racket every morning if I decide to drive it through this winter.
