I’m listening to a 2007 concert by the Czech band Kabát, dreaming of old Skodas.

I’m still at work, on a project that is annoying me, a lot. Not coincidentally, listening to GnR’s Patience.

A ‘78 Bruce Springsteen concert with like a 13 minute version of Rosalita. Somehow they made Jungleland 10 minutes (which is only 30 seconds longer than normal) and doubled the length of Rosalita. Bruce works in mysterious ways.

Listening to The Magnetic Field’s “69 Love Songs” album. Heard about it through the local record store. They’re re-releasing a 6-LP set of the entire 3-hour album for around $70. Checked it out on Spotify. Its a trip.

I don’t envy your evening. However, I’m in the process of writing several papers, so I don’t envy my evening, either.

That seems interesting. I’ll have to give it a listen.

I’ve known of Hot Action Cop since NFS Hot Pursuit 2 back in 2002 but never listened to their other stuff. Holy fuck these lyrics are incredible. I’m dying over here.

I haven’t listened to this album in quite a while. Goin’ Down on It and Fever for the Flava are absolutely ridiculous. The rest of the album is pretty great, too.
9-year-old-me’s parents are probably glad that I only found the clean versions of these songs back in 2002.

My childhood was officially ruined when I first found the original versions of Fever for the Flava and Goin’ Down on It.

Dierks Bentley like I have been for almost a month now. Some NWA mixed in when goofing around with friends though.

The guy who wrote the songs said they’re not songs about love, they’re love songs. It’s an interesting perspective for this concept album.
One of the songs that stuck out was “Sweet-lovin’ Man”

Alternating between different musicals and podcasts. Still kinda obsessed with Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton.
