Second best Type-R IMO, behind the EK.

It gets plenty of love. People love modding it to hell, driving it till it falls apart, or in my area...stealing them

And that’s the main reason it’s kinda underlooked, all of them are sitting on concrete blocks with all four wheels stolen and/or with a massive wing and NOS stickers.

Ew.
I used to like them.
Now I think they’re ugly and crappy.

Oppo needs more FK2 love.
Reading the reviews, it seems the FK2 is more of a driver’s car than the new NSX lol.

Don’t get me wrong, I USED to like them.
But I totally hate the modified Honda scene and couldn’t stand owning one.

Love ‘em. I wish we had more Civic hatches here in the US; the coupe is such a useless body style.

most of them here are sitting on gold BBS rims or sitting on Facebook with a post saying ‘STOLEN!!!’

I love these. But genuinely they are worthless second hand because of the typical drivers. There are two on my local CL, both being sold without mods.

Those in SIR form were SERIOUSLY under appreciated here in Canada. I think I’ve only ever seen 4 or 5 of them. They were actually EXCELLENT cars from back when Hondas were enthusiast cars. 160hp and 2740lbs makes for a real nice nippy car.

When these were still on sale, My parents had just bought a new Defender. In the Land Rover tradition it turned out to be a lemon, with an electrical fault that made it go in to limp mode at random. At the time Land Rover assistance would source courtesy cars through Enterprise if the car was recovered. One time an EP3 Type R turned up. No, I don’t know why Enterprise had one.
It jumped well. Not really a practical replacement for towing though.
