Kinja'd!!!

At least that’s how I’m “billing” my hours.

I actually didn’t do this until after 5, and the GIF version plays back way too fast.

GIF version looks like it dropped some frames so I uploaded the video to YouTube:

Too cool. Looks like the Lotus was just outclassed, blew it into the Mouse Bridge complex, then got desperate with that last-corner divebomb. Nice to see the Eagle out front!

Yeah, pretty much any app for stop motion will work. If I had authorship I’d post the result.

Wish I knew how to do that for you. I do not. :/

And of course it’s only THE BEST SHOW ON TV.

Seriously though, I love how Archer has this ambiguous timeline. It’s so modern and yet many times it’s not.

Seriously!! I think I have watched it 3-4 times through and me and my friends will randomly quote stuff and crack up. Then when we look at the weird faces on everyone around us who didn’t get it, it becomes even funnier.

Plus that was my favorite era for F1 cars

There’s a mystique to them. 1967 represented the culmination of what F1 had been leading up toward since the beginning: bigger engines, lighter cars.

Aerodynamics that weren’t focused on reducing drag were a massive leap forward for the sport. Prior to the big wings of 1968, car design was focused almost entirely on more power, less weight. 1967 pushed that to its limit.

The drivers had balls as big as the engines. Motorsports of the era were dangerous, but to strap yourself into a bullet and go wheel-to-wheel with the best drivers in the world on the most treacherous tracks — that’s something that deserves an immense amount of respect.

I loved these cars before Forza gave me the opportunity to take a Lotus 49 for a spin without killing myself. Now I love them even more.

Have you seen the Scarbo Performance SVF1 ? Since the millions I’d need for a real ‘67 car will probably never come my way, maybe I’ll have the cash for an SVF1 some day (with the right lottery numbers... haha). I’d have it in Gurney’s 1967 Belgian Grand Prix-winning livery, of course.

I was thinking I’d have to buy a Vanwall GPR V12. That was the closest I thought I would be able to come, but the SVF1 is soooo much batter!!!

The Light Car Company Rocket is another good option. It’d be quite a bit down on power but at least you wouldn’t kill yourself as badly.

But seriously STOP!! I can only get so erect. Seriously though I wish I had the money. I barley have enough to pick up a decent 240Z and build my self a race car. Uggg why are cars my passion? They are so expensive. I mean hell, if knitting was my passion I’d be out $1.40 and I could knit for dayz.... I really want the Sport +

Thus my Hot Wheels, etc. I buy every 60s-era F1 diecast I can find. Unfortunately there aren't many of them.
