My friend found this 924 for sale, seems reasonable, $1700 asking price.

But then it says the fuel injection was removed and replaced with twin Weber carbs? Why? Wouldn’t it make less power?

simpler than the early K-tronic. well tuned webers would make it a bit peakier (having a narrower range of ‘perfect’ tune compared to the efi, which adjusts to conditions) but peak horsepower shouldn’t change too much.
