Suspension bits. I pulled the old rotors and pads out and cleaned up the rest of it. Thought about ordering some new bigger 6 or 4 pot calipers for it but then realized that my F100 weighs more than 1000lbs less than a Crown Vic so these calipers should do the trick, it is not like they are small.

Next step is cutting out the old Twin I Beam stuff and measuring up to fab some brackets and bolt this in.

Oooh. It'll ride better without those twin I beams. It'll probably weigh less too.

I’m consistently amazed by how light some trucks are. My friend’s truck (XJ cherokee) is 1000 lighter than my V8 barge too lol

It will ride and brake tons better. And I am betting that with this front end the whole truck will be right around the 3000lb mark. It currently sits at 3100.

Seriously, It is so light, 3100lbs currently. This will lighten it up a bit more but then some chassis bracing will go in so it will probably stay around that weight.

Nice. My 79 has the twin I beam so I'm familiar with its set backs.
