From all those !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! : Get one of these little gems. This thing was mint, apart from the missing rear window. Plus, you’ll have !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! at the golf course.

Nice car anyway. I was not able to follow your link, btw. I’m always a sucker for anything that says British roadster.

Sadly these are gaining value in an insane manner as well. Weekend drivers and solid restoration candidates that were $3-4 grand are going for upwards of $7,000. Excellent examples that were once below $15k can fetch $32-40k. That was Austin Healy 3000 territory just a few years ago. And those cars are gaining value like air cooled Porsches too.

These are my favorite British roadsters, hands down.

Aww hell yeah :)

I was at a classics race at Brands Hatch this weekend and there was a TR5 there (TR6s are just TR5s with different clothing) that was running 54s laps round the Indy circuit during qualifying. Placed second behind a very well driven Mk1 Camaro and in front of a V8 TVR Griffith.

For reference, in one of the other classes the race winning E46 M3’s best lap was 53 seconds something...

The man that’s helping me do the metal work on my Roadster has one of these, he totally and perfectly restored it himself, with one change, he replaced the boat anchor straight 6 with an injected GM 3.8 V6,with 220HP, and now the damn thing flies like a bat out of hell.
