Just spent several hours cleaning the engine bay and exterior/interior of the E30. Tomorrow i am officially shipping it back to the US and the shipping company is pretty thorough with cleanliness. The engine bay was a real bitch to clean, 27 years worth of dirt accumulated in there but i did as well as i could. Hopefully it is up to their standards. Here are a few pictures after all of the elbow grease.
EDIT: Pictures look pretty crappy on here, look pixelated. Tried resizing to different resolutions but all look the same in the end.

Meanwhile I’m hard pressed to throw out the burger king bag full of other burger king bags. Fine. I’ll do it.

Why does the shipping company care how clean/dirty it is?

I’m not sure but it is a pain in the ass. Car is getting shipped free of charge thanks to Uncle Sam so I don’t know what shipping company is being used.
