This morning I got caught up in some traffic at an intersection. I knew it had to be an accident based on how far back the traffic was stopped. When I saw 2 ambulances going highway speeds on the wrong side of the road I knew things had to be bad. Eventually my side of the highway got moving again and I saw a severely busted up PT Cruiser and some SUV. There may have been a third car involved. Traffic from every other direction was stopped because of all the emergency vehicles.
Every time I heard the traffic report they just said bad accident and lanes blocked. About an hour later they reported it as a fatal car crash. I wasn't surprised given the state of the vehicles. That's the 3rd fatal crash I've passed on this road in about a year. Nothing like a big reminder you could die driving to work on the road you travel everyday.
