Someone who gets a Lexus for free - even a crappy one - has approximately 0% justification for complaint.

Some kids out there are getting the right to continue walking or bussing to work and school as a present because their family has nothing and their income is needed to keep everyone’s noses above the water. If I’m giving my kid a Lexus for free and I hear, “Guess you must really hate me dad.”, then I’d find another kid to give the Lexus to. Free Lexus not good enough? Fine, have a tall glass of nothing instead, you unappreciative spoiled little shit!

It was more along the lines of the whole “I don’t like this car, I’m going to give it to my kid” line rather than a “giving my kid a free car”. I agree, if you get a free car, you should be thankful, but it’s the reasoning why he got it that is why I responded the way I did.

The HS250h was apparently based on the Toyota Avensis sold in Europe. They only sold those Lexuses here from 2010 to 2012.

Of Toyota’s compact hybrid offerings, I’d take either an HS250h or a Prius V Five. They're not thaaaaaaaaat bad, in all honesty. The CT200h and Prius C essentially suck though.
