I need to mod my tail lights to get rear fogs. For now its just using the sunshade at night.

For people on here, who I assume are usually reasonable drivers, yes.

For others, the correct way to deal with people behind you with their highs on is to MOVE OVER

Well yes, if you’re in the left lane of a highway. But not when you’re sitting in traffic.

I’ve never actually tried that, seems like too much concentrating to do with too little reward.

Yeah, except they're not really that bright. They're the same brightness as activated brake lights unless you've changed them from the factory.

I think mine is a tiny bit brighter, but yeah its not enough to blind them (un)fortunately.

THAT’S IT buying rear fogs. They’d look better on the Jeep, but I don’t need them up there, brights are never a problem in a lifted Commander.

Now, how to integrate on the Milan...

Last I looked the requirements are compatible. Rear fogs have a higher minimum and a lower maximum brightness requirement than stop lamps. If your brakes are on the lower end of brightness and the rear fog higher it can be brighter on your car, but it won’t (legally) be brighter than stop lamps on some other cars on the road.

Other problem with using rear fogs in the US to combat high-beam drivers is their lack of widespread adoption. If you flip it on in Europe, the driver behind you knows you’re irritated; in the US they just think your brake lights went screwy.

Good points.

I may just have to get a bro-truck light bar mounted in the back window.

Best feature, deff tailgate deterrent.

P.S. You can put a bulb on the other side and have 2 rear fogs! (you may need to do some wiring. On the B5 S4 its has all the wiring, all that is needed is a hole in the back of the tail light for the bulb.)

I prefer to drop my spike strips or brake check.
