So as you guys know I bought these wheels the other day:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Well it turns out the random little spare tire/wheel I got with the package (remember I only paid $100 for the whole set of 5) is a diamond in the rough:

Yeah that little guy over there, doesn’t look like much.

Well I guess this is the proper spare for a Boss or Shelby Mustang from 1969 or so.

Thought I might get a bit more for it, but I just accepted an offer for $200 (and they pay for shipping) after surfing sold ebay deals the condition of mine shouldn’t get more than that anyhow and I don’t have to deal with fees or annoying people on Craigslist.

That means I just got made $100 bucks by buying a set of wheels.

Hahaha, there’s not much to see. They’re goofy little guys that expand like a strong balloon when inflated, they’re supposed to come (factory) with a can of compressed air to inflate it.

I doubt it’s been inflated and still has the nubs on the outside so it hasn’t been driven on.

If it makes you feel better it’s only the 2nd time it’s worked out for me.

I once bought a pair of 5.0 heads off a early 90’s Mustang, E7’s. Thought about putting them on the Montego, decided the power increase was too minimal to do all that work. Sold them. bought for $50, sold for $100.

I just started googling for space saver spare tire. Ended up on a website with a ridiculously priced $1500 date coded one and went MAYBE I HAVE SOMETHING HERE!? (contacted them, they’re dropping their price due to lack of interest haha).

I could polish up and paint the Mag 500’s and sell the set for 300-400. I just know I’m not coming across another set for 100 bucks anytime soon.

Someone put air in it. It takes quite a bit to get it pushed all the way out like that. They’re not worth as much with the tire expanded. Sorry bro.

I’d never puff one up and put it on the car, not a chance in hell I’d drive on one of em.

i may have driven the 91 firebird i had at one point with a spare on the Right rear.. it also may have been a v8/5 speed car and also there may have been hills.. and smoke..
