yes they do...though its only the one.
that other ‘bike’ you picture (i use bike in quotes because LOL at anyone trying to ride that) is a custom one-off done for a bike show. only thing really left is the motor and trans.

Could you imagine how sweet one of those would be in an NA Miata? Its not that much more powerful, but I bet its pretty light and it would sound and feel fantastic.

You can get one of these in a Campagna T-Rex, FYI.

This engine would be really awesome for small light car projects like a Caterham or something similar. Even though there are more powerful NA 1.6L engines, 6 cylinders would be too awesome just because of the idea and the noise of course.
Also, if you want to get really crazy you could turn this into a 3.2L V12.

I was thinking the same thing!

I know.. Actually I wasn’t sure if the engine was in another Beemer or not. I just found the second bike when I googled the first.

Oh! That would be cool.

Hartley or Synergy needs to combine two of these into a wild V12.

OMG, one of these in an MGB would be amazing of you could get it to work. That would be a hell of a sawp!

Yup, since 2012, with the Concept 6, precursor to the K1600GT and GTL. Arguably no K1600-based custom bike (and there have been a few), are as good as BMW’s own Concept 6.
I have wanted a K1600 version of the K1200R-Sport ever since. I want a K1200R-Sport anyway... but it would be all the sweeter with the K1600’s I6 and smoother frame.
Also, Campagna licenses the BMW K1600 engine for their latest revision to the T-Rex 16S cycle car. There is a BMW Motorrad inline-6 under there, behind the seats.
It is a toss up for big-bike 6-cylinder engines, but I think the 24-valve BMW I-6 edges out the 1832cc flat-6 in the Honda GoldWing, Rune, and F6B... but only because the Honda engine is single-overhead-cam with 12 valves, rather than DOHC-24V.

Imagine a 1600cc-I6 based reverse trike with a tilting front suspension. I am.
I like the CanAm Spyder F3... except for the fact that it doesn’t lean like a bike.
I have contemplated a K1600-based, or alternatively Honda-1800 H6 powered tilting reverse trike, to beat the Spyder F3, and handle more like a bike.
Then Honda proposed one, with electric assist, and two cylinders chopped off, just being introduced in Japan this week... the NeoWing.
Sort of half way between the Goldwing bagger, and the Evo6 concept... which debuted around the same time as the BMW Concept 6.
I’d take either of those bikes, or the NeoWing (and seek to re-skin it to look less like a Decepticon), or a K1600 tilting reverse trike.

A 3.2-ish liter 32-valve V12 with a modular end plate that could be setup for various bell housings, would be fantastic.
I could theoretically even see a turbocharged Hot-Vee configurations, like BMW’s turbo V8s... intake side outboard, exhaust side inboard, with turbos in the vee of the engine.
Crazy possibilities for a much more modern small V12 than classic Columbo Ferrari V12s.

So many possibilities. So little money.
The bike that uses this engine has 158hp. I imagine a V12 would be able of about 290 if not more. That’d be sexy as hell.
Also, this engine is only 56cm long. A 300hp V12, or a 500hp Turbo V12 that is as not much bigger than a turbo 4 cylinder and also very light would be a very versatile package.
V12 Miata anyone?
