The question is whether or not it will pass emissions and be offered with a manufacturer warranty and maintenance schedule or dealer network.

Boosting an LS3 to 800HP never was that big of a deal.

I’m just going to go out on a limb here and suggest that, for the vast majority of customers, the Hellcat is a better offering. One, it comes with a manufactures warranty to cover all 700+ horses. Two, it can actually be purchased on the continent where it’s built.

A wad of cash and a canvas will always win the niche exploit game. No surprise there.
