Would probably set a better quali time than a Red Bull car.

To put it in perspective, these cars have to run a semi-slick road legal tyre for all classes. Then they go out and lap about 5-6 seconds faster than a V8 Supercar can at qualifying pace, and about 7-8 seconds faster than a V8SC at race pace.

Like I said, would probs be faster than what Alonso is driving this season (but not really).
It still astounds me that they can churn out that much time on road-legal simi-slicks. What more can they do with soft slicks?

Not sure, since none of them test on full slicks. No point if the only class they race in mandates a control semi slick (an Advan of some sort). Also it is sort of an international rule to use semi’s so nobody even bothers with anything else.
