Need Help with a Toyota Echo window

So a friend of my brother has a Toyota Echo with manual crank windows. Apparently, the driver side window won’t crank all the way up. It stops about an inch or two before fully closed. We’ve also been volunteered by my brother to fix it, so I’m hoping you guys know something that could help. Before we go tearing out interior panels all willy-nilly.

Probably a slipped track, you’ll likely have to tear into the door.

Sounds like a good excuse to go crawling around the local self service junk yard. You might find something completly unrelated to what you need.
