Yeah, and is one of the big reasons why aftermarket spoilers like that are still around.

Personally, I’m of the club that supports any stupid/crazy mod like that if it makes an otherwise boring and unremarkable car stand out. It’s just when the owners get pretentious about how much downforce they’re making (and aren’t being honest about the fact that it’s just for show, and being for show, does a good job at that) that its a problem.
