In high school, a friend of mine had a LeBaron. It was a rusted heap he cared very little for. The passenger side door was bashed in from an off- road excursion and had spray foam filling in the now massive panel gaps. One day he thought it would be cool to debadge the car. Another friend then proceeded to spray paint THE BARON across the back, and FART along the hood. The Baron owner wasn’t too happy. Good times.

The convertible version was one of the very few American cars of its era that actually sold more than a handful in Europe. As a result, when looking for an American car from approximately 1990, a Lebaron is one of the most frequent (least infrequent) search results here.
