So I recently bought an Xbox One, and a couple of games (Forza 6, Forza Horizon 2, and will hopefully be getting Project CARS soon too). At the time, I didn’t want to spend a whole lot on a wheel, so I just bought a cheap, $100 Thrustmaster wheel, just so that I didn’t have to go back to driving with a controller.
Previously, I had a PS3, and a Logitech G27 wheel that I loved. In fact, I still have it. I got thinking today, I know that the G27 is primarily a PlayStation and PC wheel, but would there be any way at all to use it with the Xbone? I’ve heard things about people using some sort of special adapters or whatever, but haven’t really done much research on it. I also thought I’d consult Oppo, since I know that lots of you use the Xbox One console.
Any thoughts or help would be appreciated! Thanks guys!

I got a G27 and Xbone too. But I mostly use the wheel on PC; there’s adapters but they add a considerable lag and you need a software to basically map the wheel to a controller. It’s a pain, and not worth it if you have a native wheel for it.

Ok, thanks for the advice. Should I just look into an upgraded Thrustmaster 458 TX or a Logitech G920 (even though it’s a bit more expensive) then?

I switched to PC, one of the reasons for this being lack of good wheels and 900 degree support on the Xbox. I have a G25 now, got it for only $100.

If funds aren’t too much of an issue, yeah. It’s a good idea since they’ll eventually go on a really good sale probably later this year or soon, that’s how I got my G27 just watched prices and got it stupid cheap at $150 including next day shipping and two games. Besides the 920/458 TX are a nice investment.
