This makes me profoundly sad.

Or, its title has gained more meaning. Back to what we thought was the future.

Lol people get so mad when I tell them that I’ve never seen any of those movies. I started seeing the first one and got bored.

Ive never seen any of the Star Wars movies myself. But BTTF is a must!!! Do it now!
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:02 |

They are movies of a different generation. As you get older you will realise certain films that defined your childhood and nurtured your love of cars, etc... and look back with great fondness which the next generation will also say ‘I started seeing the first one and got bored’.
I don’t mean that critically or anything and others shouldn’t get ‘mad’ because you don’t see their movies in the same light.

I hate you! You’re letting the terrorists win! Etc.
Jk.
Edit- people get mad when I tell them that Princess Bridge is a steaming pile. Absolutely hated it, didn’t come close to laughing even once, and the acting was atrocious.

I’m just going to believe that the ‘2015’ in BTTF exists in an alternate universe relative to our own.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:04 |

Nooooooo! What is wrong with you?! I’m under 20 and I own the trilogy!
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:05 |
|
well if you where born in 1998 I can understand you for not liking movies made in the 80’s
But for me the 3 movies are one my all time favorite movies, just like army of darkness. i was like 6-7 when BTTF out, and got to see the 2 other ones not to long after, so I grew up with this.
I just dislike you now for making me feel old, hell I turned 19 in 1998. I still own clothes that are older than you.
not get off my lawn and go watch BTTF 1, 2 and 3.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:06 |

Now, I’m willing to buy all that... But I and my immediate friend group are all about twenty, and we love BTTF. It’s my all-time favourite film series, ever.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:12 |

I guess for me personally, it would be the Harry Potter series. I would lose it if someone in the future told me that they’ve never seen then lol.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:12 |

Wow, you’re so edgy...
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:13 |

I’ve never heard of that movie. Is it like Princes Diaries?
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:15 |

Lol i’m sorry *hugs*. My brother has them on his laptop so i’ll have him send them to me so I could watch them this weekend. It’s supposed to be raining all weekend so i’ll have time.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:15 |

Ye’, there are people I know that look at me strange when I say I never got into Harry Potter but then there are others who can’t understand how I never got into Star Wars.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:17 |
|
Lol idk :) I started to see the first one but I didn’t understand it and I just stopped watching it. I promise to make an effort this weekend.

YOU’VE NEVER SEEN HARRY POTTER? Watch them all naow!
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:20 |

I think the movies are OK but the books are unbelievably boring.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:23 |

No. Not one bit. At all.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:23 |

OMG I can’t even believe those words could be placed in that order!
Lol j/k, but on the realzies, the books are so good! Twilight especially.

It’s like a root canal without anesthesia.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:27 |

Oh dang. I’ll make sure not to watch it then lol :)
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:27 |

Lol aww Gingy!!!!
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:29 |

I’m in the present and only watched part of 2 of them. Not my thing. Haha
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:30 |
|
Oh I’ve seen them or most, I’m not sure how many there are and how many I’ve seen but other than the Ford Anglia I don’t recall or have any interest in them.
For me it’s TV series like Qi, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You, etc... that stick with me. There are some films but I honestly can’t recall any at this moment.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:31 |

How much of it is the cars?
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:34 |
|
Not that much, actually. My friends are mostly indifferent to cars; I know a dude with a Fiesta ST, but he mainly got it because his brother had one, and he found a good lease deal.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:37 |

I only saw 2 of those, lost interest during the first one.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:45 |

I’ve never seen any of the TV series. I think they are from the UK right. I like watching Kitchen Nightmare (non US) and Top Gear. Those are the only shows I know :)
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:47 |

I had all 3 of them on vhs( vhs is a big plastic tape thing that you would have to go to a video store(video store is place you go to rent movies in the 80s and 90s sort of like a real life Netflix but you have to go and then bring them back the next day) and rent them. Then I bought the 3 DVDs box set ( DVDs are round shinny plastic disks that replaced vhs cassettes). Now I want to find them on blue ray, but since digital downloads became a thing, movie stores basically died..
If I have time, I think i’ll have to rewatch the bttf movies soon, i should seeing that I will be on leave for 5 weeks any day now
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:47 |

The DeLorean was the only thing I took away from the film and Lea Thompson of course, oh my dear god Lea Thompson.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:48 |
|
I guess they are not for everyone.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 17:50 |
|
I’ll try and catch them. Why are you leaving for 5 weeks? From OPPO also?
![]() 10/20/2015 at 18:01 |
|
Yes, they are BBC TV series. Many are on YouTube.
Here’s a Qi episode with Daniel Radcliffe on the panel.
Qi stands for ‘Quite Interesting’, it’s sort of a funny way of learning or correcting miss known facts.

My wife is due any day now, here in Quebec dads get 5 weeks paternity leave. My wife can transfer more weeks if I want

I don’t get how the show works :) But they seem excited.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 18:10 |

OMG yay congrats!

Stephen Fry asks questions and you get points for answering correctly but get deducted points for answering incorrectly and a claxon for answering an expected incorrect answer and it’s amazing how much people know but is actually incorrect.

Here’s probably a more apt thing to what I’m saying.

It’s what I love about the BBC. Informative and entertaining.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 19:06 |

I’ve never seen them, nor do I intend too.
![]() 10/20/2015 at 20:50 |

That could be - the time traveling to 1955 completely screwed everything up to where smart phones were never developed, but we got hovercars, hoverboards, fax machines everywhere, self-drying clothes, automatic shoe laces, and really cheap and extremely effective plastic surgery. Actually, maybe that would be worth the trade off?

guy i work with said the same thing to me today.

We also apparently never got Facebook, Twitter, Kardashians, the Trump Presidential Campaign or the Youabian Puma...
...I think it’s pretty obvious now that we live in the dark timeline.
